High-Speed Spindles for Deburring/Flash Removal Castings

A MB55 spindle with precision ground stand: 100,000 plus part cycles, 125,000 max. with precision ground stand. Other sizes available.

Milwaukee MachineTool Corporation (MMC) is producing a series of High-Speed Spindles specifically designed for 24/7/365 continuous run time for Deburring/Flash removal castings.

Working with a series of Tier 1 automotive suppliers, MMC has provided an economical solution for removal of deburring/flash with 100,000+ part cycles being common. Engineered spindles with proper bearing and grease arrangements is critical for long life of the units. All steel belt boxes and precision ground bases add to the long cycle life of spindles. Complete control packages are also available.

"MMC became involved in this product line when other domestic spindle manufacturer units were failing only weeks after being installed," said a company spokesperson. "It was realized there was a need to develop a product that would have a much longer life span."

MMC has been supplying highly engineered components for over 40 years.

"Starting with the slide and spindle building business, our expanding customer base has moved us into many designs and build applications outside of core product lines," said the spokesperson.
