Switchgear Enclosures Require Extensive Systems Integration

"Switchgear enclosures from Robinson combine the best of our custom metal fabrication and systems integration capabilities to provide a safe, protected environment for external power systems," said a company spokesperson. Switchgear, used to control, protect and isolate electrical equipment, often requires protection from the elements when stationed outside.

Robinson has the ability to produce fully integrated switchgear enclosures, including controls, connections and cabling, all within a high-quality metal enclosure. Its in-house team of experts simplifies the process of sourcing switchgear enclosures for customers across North America.

"We can drop-ship the entire package to its final destination in a plug & play format," said Jeff Kroening, Director of Sales for Robinson. "Our customers appreciate the simplified sourcing process for packaged skids and switchgear enclosures without having to work through multiple suppliers."

The amount of heat and noise generated by equipment housed inside switchgear enclosures often require HVAC, sound attenuation, fire suppression and other controls geared toward minimizing risk. The Robinson team can tie together all components of a system and conduct factory acceptance testing to confirm expected performance.

"We design switchgear enclosures that are access-friendly for your team while delivering the security you need in protecting the assets inside," said the spokesperson. "This includes designing for efficiency from the project's inception, and carrying that focus all the way through to the final set-up."
