National Machine Products Partners with Indass

National Machine Products announced that it is the North American distributor of Indass Chip and Coolant Reclamation Systems as part of their new GREEN product line.

"This partnership enables us to import and distribute customizable solutions to meet the chip and coolant processing needs of any machine shop," said Bob Tracy, Vice President and General Manager, National Machine Products. "Coolant reclamation and chip recycling open the door to creating a more environmentally friendly facility for manufactures across the country."

National Machine Products offers a number of Indass systems:

  • Automatic vertical wringer: The automatic chip/swarf centrifuge type SCED5/10 is an efficient solution to dry swarf and collect the recovered oil or emulsion coolant in a tank for recycling and reuse. The vertical swarf centrifuge SCED10 is a drum centrifuge for efficient operation. The solid particles are separated on the inner periphery of a drum lining while the liquid passes through for recovery.
  • MT4: The shredder or grinder is composed of a grinding drum and a pusher that automatically pushes the swarf against the turning shaft. The inserts placed on the drum hook the swarf and push them against a holed grid. The diameter of the holes can vary due to the required size of swarf.
  • Chip processing units: The swarf processing treatment plants are modular systems for crushing, spinning and storage of chips. They come in a number of set-ups including crushers, conveyors, centrifuges and briquetting machines. Small, compact automatic systems for the management of swarf up to 200 kg/h are also available.

The company also offers Robotline for processing different materials. Highlights:

  • No crusher required
  • Bar ends accepted
  • Manual or automatic loading of the basket
  • One single plant for oil and emulsion
  • The swarf basket is designed as the centrifuge basket
  • The spun swarf is discharged automatically via robotic automation, without any operator intervention
  • As an option, several baskets can be automatically handled by installation of extra roller conveyors.
