Capital Machine has announced an Automation Advancements event that will demonstrate the latest technologies in metal fabrication and robotic welding.
Capital will host two full open house days Tuesday and Wednesday, July 19-20. For those who would like to attend but prefer to be around fewer people and have a more one-on-one style demo, there are available time slots on Thursday and Friday, July 21-22.
Event highlights will include the SafanDarley Mini Cell featuring a fully automated press brake with the latest FANUC robot. Additionally, the latest in collaborative robots (cobots) and robotic cells offered by Capital Robotics will be featured, including Yaskawa Motoman Robotics and OTC Daihen.
Further technology to be showcased will include: Mazak OptiPlex 10 kW laser, OMAX Maxiem 1530 waterjet cutting machine, Schroder precision folder, Accurpress hydraulic press brake, Messer MetalMaster 2.0, Hydmech band saw, WILA tooling, Wilson Tools, GEKA and Timesavers finishing and deburring solutions.
For the first time, Capital Machine will be exhibiting the FlexCNC vertical machining center (VMC) from Flex Machine Tools. It is capable of high-speed drilling and milling of large parts in one set-up with minimal repositioning.
Industry experts will be available throughout the event to answer any automation questions.
Available time slots for Thursday, July 21, are 8 AM, 10 AM, 1 PM and 3 PM. For Friday, July 22, available time slots are 8 AM and 10 AM. For those who prefer a time slot, after registration a salesman will reach out to them to secure a session.
