EXCETEK EDM USA has opened its new U.S. showroom in the Greater Cincinnati area. Located in Lebanon, OH, EXCETEK EDM USA is the marketing and servicing arm for EXCETEK TECHNOLOGIES, Taichung City, Taiwan. Its first annual dealers meeting recently took place with 10 U.S. dealers present to meet with Richard Chang, President of EXCETEK TECHNOLOGIES.
EXCETEK TECHNOLOGIES manufactures a full line of wire EDMs, both linear motor and ball screw type. It also manufactures both CNC and manual sinker and CNC and manual EDM hole drilling machines. EXCETEK also builds custom EDM machines for special applications. "Additionally, EXCETEK touts the largest wire EDM in the world with its model V3280," said a company spokesperson. EXCETEK machines are currently being sold in over 40 countries around the world.
"Our threader on our wire is second to none," said Charlie Quillen, Vice President of EXCETEK EDM USA. Quillen has been in the EDM industry for over 47 years. He added, "If we get a customer in front of a machine for a demo, we have never lost a sale of a machine because of our threader and speed."
Machines from all three categories will be on display for demo and training purposes in the new facility.
