5-Axis Turn-Mill for Moldmaking

Vision Wide, a builder of double column bridge machines (3-, 4- and 5-axis) and high rail gantry machines (3-, 4- and 5-axis), has now introduced the new ASM 5-Axis Turn-Mill Series.

The ASM Series, with an X-, Y-, Z-, B- and C-axis, is specifically designed for reducing the operations for complex parts and features a VTL rotary/positioning table with sizes of 1,000 mm, 1,200 mm and 1,500 mm. It has both single table and pallet changer models. The machining spindle has a B-axis with speeds of 7,000 RPM, 10,000 RPM and 20,000 RPM.

Vision Wide builds 15 different models and recently introduced the new SE Series that features multiple spindle speeds from 10,000 RPM to 24,000 RPM, dual Z-axis ball screws, a specially designed casting and an advanced thermal system for high accuracy blends in long running die-mold parts.

"Vision Wide's complete expertise results in total solutions for machining aerospace composite and aluminum wing spar machines with the ADM Series," said a company spokesperson. Other series include the large BM Series W-axis portal machines and the large NFT Series bridge machines with VTL tables.

Since its inception in 1999, Vision Wide has grown to three factories with over 500,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space. Vision Wide machines are imported by CNC Systems Inc. with locations in California and New England.
