Brochure Features Bending of Sheet Metal

Bystronic offers a brochure it titles, Bending. Bending is a procedure for forming a flat, sheet metal workpiece. Bending immediately follows cutting in the processing chain. According to the brochure, the workpiece lies on a bottom tool with a v-shaped opening. A wedge-shaped tool (punch) presses the workpiece into the v-opening and thus bends it to the desired angle.

The brochure discusses different types of bending including air bending, dynamic crowning and stamping. Bystronic offers a variety of bending solutions for different types of bending and different sizes of workpieces.
