API Appoints Chung Senior Vice President, Global Sales & Marketing

Dr. Kam Lau, Chief Executive Officer and Owner of Automated Precision, Inc. (API), has announced the appointment of Song Chung as the new Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing.
Chung was previously with Perceptron, Inc. where most recently he was Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. In his 20-year span with Perceptron, Chung also served as Vice President Engineering, Director of Sales and Managing Director of Perceptron Asia and Perceptron Korea. Chung holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in engineering management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Dr. Lau said, "We are confident that Song Chung will bring to API his broad portfolio of technical experience, sales know-how and management capabilities that will enable API to continue to grow the business in the broader industrial markets where our sales solutions for dimensional gauging, dimensional inspection and 3-D scanning have the greatest potential."
