Hand Wheel Collet Chuck for 16C Collets

Pratt Burnerd America/Atlas Workholding will introduce a new model PB16-00 16C collet chuck. PBA has offered a 5C hand wheel version for a number of years but have had requests for larger 16C versions. Pratt Burnerd has now added this larger size to its line-up for 2017.
"Fast and easy front hand wheel operation with no need for linkages or drawtubes makes it easy to transform a machine from chuck to collet and back," said a company spokesperson. The 16C version is high quality with Nitride hardened wheel teeth gears and a nickel-plated body engineered to resist corrosion. It features an accuracy of .005" TIR at the collet cone.
