Arthur Machinery-Florida hosted a Lunch & Learn at its Tampa Machine Tool facility.
Kitamura vertical and horizontal machining centers, Chevalier vertical machining centers and CNC lathes, Leadwell CNC lathes and Hanwha CNC Swiss lathes were on display.
Tim Ripka, Regional Sales Rep from Renishaw Probe Systems, explained Renishaw's probe system installed on the Chevalier EM2040L vertical machining center. Kemma Dodds, Applications Technician from Air Turbine Technology, demonstrated Air Turbine's 40,000-RPM spindle.
Jeff Fuhrmann, Arthur's Application/Service Manager and Bryan Langley, Service Engineer, demonstrated the Hanwha XD20H CNC Swiss lathe. Andy Pennington, Leadwell Sales Rep, showed Leadwell's LTC-210 CNC lathe.
Dwight Daniel, Owner of ProForce Integrated Systems, showed customers the features and benefits of the FeatureCam programming software. Chris Ott, from RAM Sales & Marketing, discussed Techniks tooling and TE-CO and Royal Products workholding applications.
Customers were able to discuss their machining applications on the Kitamura, Chevalier, Leadwell and Hanwha CNC machines.
"I was encouraged with the attendance of both existing and potential new customers," said Robert Arthur of Arthur Machinery-Florida. "The builder support and participation was very much appreciated by attendees."
