Matsuura Machinery USA Adds Three Team Members

Matsuura Machinery USA has announced the addition of three new team members.

David Danielson will assume the position of Service Support in Matsuura USA's Service Department. Danielson most recently held the position of Technical Services Coordinator in the Customer Support Services Department at Continental Machines Inc.

At Continental Machines Inc., Danielson also held numerous roles including Return Merchandise, Service Scheduling, Parts Quoting and Order Inquiry.

Danielson holds certifications in Industrial Safety, Heartsaver First Responder, Forklift Safety and MSPS Training and Response. In addition to numerous career enhancement seminars, David has attended Winona Technical College, Hennepin Technical College and Fluid Power Society.

Barker Hollingsworth has joined the Matsuura USA sales team as Regional Sales Manager.

Hollingsworth has more than 29 years of professional CNC Machine Tool Sales, Project Management and Sales Management. He will be responsible for the Southeastern U.S., where he will reach out to existing Matsuura USA customers to ensure their needs are met, while also developing new partners within the region.

Hollingsworth was most recently Southeastern Regional Technical Sales Manager for 5ME, LLC, where he was responsible for managing sales generation and the service group. His prior role was with Cragg Machine Tool, where he was Sales Manager. He also worked with Crotts and Saunders Engineering as a Sales Engineer, and several other organizations over the years.

Hollingsworth is a graduate of Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business & Economics. He holds many accreditations in professional Sales and Management Training and he is CMTSE (Certified Machine Tool Sales Engineer) accredited.

Jim Shiner joins Matsuura as the company's new VP Sales and Marketing. Shiner most recently held the position of General Manager of Operations at DMG MORI USA, where he maintained responsibility for all phases of office operation, service, application engineering and order processing. Prior to his role as General Manager, he served as Regional Sales Manager at DMG MORI USA.

As Matsuura USA's VP Sales and Marketing, Shiner will be directly responsible for all sales and marketing activities at Matsuura. He will provide leadership to the Matsuura USA sales and marketing teams, develop new business opportunities, enhance distributor relationships and assist in providing customized solutions for our customers.

Shiner previously served as Director of Sales and Marketing, as well as General Manager of Systems Group and Midwest Regional Sales Manager for Doosan. Shiner holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO.
