Heartland Machine & Engineering Named Exclusive North American Importer by FFG/DMC

Fair Friend Group (FFG), a machine tool maker based in Taiwan, has named Indiana-based Heartland Machine & Engineering its exclusive North American importer for the Korean product line FFG/DMC. DMC Korea was acquired in January 2015 by FFG. FFG recently integrated the DMC product line into its global machine concept and established FFG/DMC.
The acquisition has allowed Heartland Machine & Engineering (HME) to continue its now three years of selling DMC machines. "Heartland's position as the nationwide leader in DMC machine sales since 2012 played a pivotal role in selecting the company as the North American importer for FFG/DMC under the name FFG/DMC by Heartland," said a company spokesperson.
"Heartland's extensive knowledge of the DMC product line and the sales success they have had with the product gives us every confidence that they are the right partner for FFG/DMC as we work toward expanding our market in the U.S., Canada and Mexico," said David Chu, President of FFG/DMC. "Tom Goin, President of HME, has already established a team of strong distributors in key regions throughout North America, and this will strengthen our presence and provide a high level of service and innovative solutions for our customers."
Heartland is hosting an FFG/DMC distributor open house this month, providing technology education, hands-on demonstrations, product automation experience and sales-marketing tools for the more than 20 distributors selling DMC machines.
