Arthur Machinery-Florida Adds INDEX TRAUB Line

"Arthur Machinery-Florida has been selected to represent the INDEX and TRAUB lines of precision turning and mill-turn machine tools in Florida and Puerto Rico," said Bob Arthur, Owner.
INDEX and TRAUB multi-functional metalcutting production centers are designed to accomplish several operations in a single set-up. "This complete machining means that not only the quality and precision are higher, but also that the production costs are reduced as a result of shorter cycle times. Both single spindle and multi-spindle CNC machines are available," said a company spokesperson.
The main customers of INDEX include automotive and automotive supplier industries, mechanical and electrical engineering industries, electronics sectors and manufacturers of fluid technology and of controls and instruments. Growth markets for INDEX and TRAUB are medical technology and aerospace.
Bob Arthur stated that INDEX and TRAUB have an existing customer base in the Florida market.
Arthur Machinery-Florida is supported by Stephan Schmitt, the regional Sale Engineer for Index Corporation, as well as a large staff of application engineers in Indiana. Stock machines in the Indiana facility often are utilized to machine customer parts and to prove out a machining process.
