The five to seven CNC-driven axes of the ZOLLER »titan« are built to measure every type of metalcutting tool fully automatically and with high precision, ranging from measuring the outer contours, operator-independent complete control through extensive documentation.
Automation Solution
The automation solution »roboSet« is designed to load the ZOLLER presetter fully automatically and unmanned, 24 hours a day. "»roboSet« is built to operate in combination with the heat-shrink machine »redomatic« for a fully automatic shrinking of tools to nominal value and with »genius« for efficient quality control at high tool throughput," said the spokesperson.
According to the company, ZOLLER »roboSet« offers a high level of process safety due to the automatic path correction of the robot during every single feeding procedure. "Mechanical disconnection from the measuring device assures high standards of measuring accuracy," said the spokesperson.
