Marposs Acquires Precision Tooling and Gauging Manufacturer

Marposs S.p.A. has announced the acquisition of FL Tool Holders LLC of Livonia, MI, a manufacturer of precision tooling and gauging products for the automotive, aerospace, marine and off-road manufacturing industries. FL Tool Holders custom designs and builds standard and specialty products; tool holders of different shapes, operating systems and locking styles including special design machine spindles, air gauges and fixtures, attribute (hard) gauges and fixtures and standard and special masters and tapered parts.
Founded in 1984, FL Tool Holders is located in a 17,000 sq. ft. production facility equipped with an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited gauge room. According to the company, the ISO 9001-certified firm has complete engineering design and manufacturing capabilities to support manufacturing customers globally. The company provides on-site training, service and repair for its broad range of products.
