SIC Marking's new portable marking system, the e1-p63c, is designed for permanent identification of all kinds of metal and plastic parts. According to the company, the new system is ideal for heavy and bulky parts or difficult to access areas and is particularly suited to harsh working environments.
The marking system is manufactured from a single cast aluminum chassis and handle assembly for strength and durability with minimal vibration. It weighs 2.6 kg and features dimensions of 205 x 203 x 133 mm. Marking area is 60 x 25 mm.
The e1 controller has been ergonomically designed to be hand held and easy to carry. It has a high definition color display (320 x 240 pixels) and features easy read icon driven menus.
The new software allows alphanumeric text, logos and data matrix codes to be marked. The USB port makes it easy to import and export marking files. The system is supplied in a carrying case for transportation and for outdoor use.
