Messer Cutting Systems Appoints Icon Machine Tool as Distributor

Icon Machine Tool has announced the addition of Messer Cutting Systems to its metal fabrication equipment product lines. Messer CNC Cutting Systems, a manufacturer of plasma, oxyfuel, and large plate processing equipment, has been a provider for the fabrication of thin to very heavy steel fabricated products. "Messer Cutting Systems are ideal for shipbuilders, rail, agriculture, job shops, structural steel or precision work fabricators," said a company spokesperson. "Messer provides before and after the sale service and support. Skilled applications engineers and sales staff analyze customers' needs and plans." Messer provides full system support with technical and applications training, including software.

"Icon and Messer bring expertise to the table so fabricators are able to make the best choice for their cutting table needs," said the spokesperson. "Messer backs its machines with service for increased productivity and profitability."

Icon Machine Tool, Inc. is a machine tool distributor of metal fabricating equipment. The company covers Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Washington, Oregon and Idaho. "Established in July 2001, Icon is owned by Jeff Hall of Silverdale, WA, and Shane Stufflebean of Kansas City, MO, who together have more than 43 years of experience in machine tool sales," said the spokesperson. Icon sells new metal fabrication machine tools for TRUMPF, Peddinghaus, Messer, TECHNI Waterjet, Scotchman, Ocean Machinery, Lissmac, Marvel, Cosen and others. Icon brokers and sells used equipment and has regionally located sales engineers who assist customers in purchasing and using machinery.

According to the spokesperson, Icon has received numerous sales awards from TRUMPF, including #1 Distributor in North America in 2008 and 2013. Icon sales engineers have received certification from the TRUMPF TruMark group.
