Tool Balancing System Improves Safety, Performance

BIG DAISHOWA has added a new tool balancing system: the Speroni STB AEQUILIBRIA line. The STB AEQUILIBRIA system is engineered to help manufacturers avoid costly problems and enable higher precision and performance.
"Balanced tools contribute to higher speeds, higher chip removal rates, and better surface finish," noted a company spokesperson. "With less vibration and bearing load, manufacturers can expect longer spindle life and better machine performance. The STB AEQUILIBRIA features a laser marker and lighted status indicators. In addition to the hardware features, the STB AEQUILIBRIA software was designed and developed in-house by SPERONI. An intuitive interface and clear compensation options make the balancing process simple for operators of all experience levels.
