Laser Components Strengthens US Presence with Strategic Site Consolidation

Laser Components has announced plans to consolidate its U.S. operations to deliver an even more seamless experience to customers across North America. By uniting production and sales under one roof, the company aims to further streamline processes, reduce delivery times, and enhance crossfunctional collaboration.

Arizona has long been home to the production of high-performance avalanche photodiodes. Over time, the facility has expanded to include pyroelectric detectors, InGaAs PIN detectors, and lead salt detectors. With the opening of a new state-of-the-art production site in 2020, Laser Components has reinforced its commitment to precision manufacturing and continuous technological innovation in the United States.

Laser Components' U.S. sales teams have offered fast, responsive support for years-whether assisting customers with in-house technologies or solutions from leading photonics brands. As a significant share of company revenue is generated from North American products, consolidating the locations marks a logical and strategic step toward accelerating response times and strengthening customer relationships.

To further elevate customer support, the company has appointed Andrew Larsen as Sales Director, responsible for all sales activities in North America. Larsen will focus on high-growth markets, including defense and aerospace, medical technology, and quantum technology. At the same time, Laser Components continues to expand its product portfolio to deliver perfectly tailored solutions for a wide range of applications.

Through this new organizational structure, Laser Components is consolidating expertise, strengthening its brand presence in the U.S., and creating tangible benefits for customers: shorter communication paths, increased efficiency, and even more comprehensive technical support.
