Sustainable Solutions for Demanding Manufacturing Processes

The Swiss Steel Group offers drawn stainless steel wire and bar steel products designed to provide high precision, especially in bar turning applications. With its UGIMA process, the Swiss Steel Group not only produces high-quality products, but also environmentally friendly ones, the company reported.

"Complete control of the production process-from raw material procurement to final processing-enables the Swiss Steel Group to deliver consistently high quality that reduces tool wear," said a company spokesperson. "This results in fewer maintenance intervals and minimized downtimes in production, which means greater efficiency and productivity for users."

The Swiss Steel Group's drawn wires are designed for applications in the aerospace, medical technology and watchmaking industries, which require particularly high precision. Due to state-of-the-art surface treatment technologies, the products offer increased dimensional accuracy and surface quality, which are essential for smooth production processes.

Whether austenitic, martensitic or duplex stainless steels, all Swiss Steel Group products are available in standard as well as sustainable green steel quality. The wire and bar steel products can be supplied in individual lengths and diameters to optimally meet specific production requirements.

Swiss Steel USA operates six service centers located throughout the Midwest, East Coast and West Coast. Services include stainless coil to bar drawing, bar line marking, vacuum heat treatment and tempering, custom saw cutting, plate grinding and machining.
