Fives Names New CEO of Fives Machining Systems, Inc.

Matt Shockey has been appointed CEO of Fives Machining Systems, Inc. (Cincinnati, Giddings & Lewis and Machine Tool Services & Solutions) in conjunction with his current Grinding|Ultra Precision (GUP) Presidency role. In this position, Shockey will lead Fives Machining Systems, Inc. strategies and create synergies within High Precision Machines Division.
Shockey has been an integral part of Fives' High Precision Machine's Division for nearly 30 years, serving in various leadership roles within the GUP business unit. He has also played a key role in shaping the strategy of the High Precision Machines Division in North America and contributed to AddUp's expansion in North America from 2017 to 2020.
