Starrag USA Appoints Regional Sales Manager Southeast

Starrag USA has appointed Jason Sims Regional Sales Manager Southeast.

Sims' journey into machining and manufacturing engineering began in high school, where he discovered his passion in machine shop class. He honed his skills while studying at a technical college and working nights as a manual/CNC machinist. Using his expertise, he ventured into integrating automated equipment across North America, predominantly in the automotive sector. Later, he played a pivotal role in launching a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for large power generation components. Transitioning into a leadership role as principal CAD/CAM Engineer, he led teams and facilitated the set-up of new factories. Since 2021, Sims has thrived in the machine and equipment sales industry, applying his wealth of experience with enthusiasm.
