CSM Tube Opens North American Manufacturing Facility

A provider of high-quality welded stainless-steel tubes, CSM Tube is headquartered and manufactures in Italy. Seeing a void in the marketplace, CSM Tube seized upon an opportunity and has opened a full manufacturing operation in Elk Grove Village, IL, just outside of Chicago.

"Welded stainless steel tubes are a critical part of the manufacturing process," said a company spokesperson. "Often, they do not always get immediate consideration in process planning or design, but sub-standard tubes can cost thousands in losses. CSM Tube sources high-quality raw materials from North American and Italian mills, ensuring a consistent supply of top-tier stainless steel for tube production. This dual sourcing strategy provides customers with the benefit of global resources while offering flexibility in meeting specific project needs."

CSM Tube embraces a collaborative approach, working in tandem with each customer team to design a customized product solution.

CSM Tube has established a Quality Control Center, where the several production lines are monitored 24 hours a day. Every detail is automated in order to increasingly push towards a finished product that satisfies the customer's requests.

CSM Tube produces stainless steel tubes of different diameters ranging from 5 mm to 32 mm and wall thickness ranging from 0.30 mm to 2 mm. Complete range of alloys includes austenitic AISI 300 series and refractory high nickel content alloys (800 -825 -840 and 600 -601).

Tubes are utilized across an array of industries: automotive, food and beverage, energy solutions, heating exchangers and heating elements.
