Waterjet for Large Format Metal Cutting

WARDJet Tailored Waterjet Solutions has released the all-new M-Series waterjet. The design allows for multiple head configurations on a single gantry. "With the ability to park heads outside of the cutting zone, operators will not sacrifice the full cutting envelope to a single head," said a company spokesperson.

The M-Series is a high-speed, high-acceleration, large format solution for large and multiple sheet production. Designed for industry standard sheet sizes, it maximizes access to all sides of the cutting area. Combined with WARDJet's MOVE touch control software, the M-Series offers increased production. The hardened helical rack and pinion drive allows up to 1,400 IPM accelerations while maintaining accuracy.

Whether operators need water-only or abrasive, 5-axis cutting or 2D capabilities, the M-Series has the flexibility to accept several types of cutting heads. Add multiple cutting heads or spreader bars for higher production and increased throughput.
