Stainless Foundry & Engineering Names Plant Manager

Rory Kluck

Stainless Foundry & Engineering (SF&E) announced that Rory Kluck has joined the company as Plant Manager. In this role, Kluck will oversee the daily operations of all sand castings and investment castings. His primary responsibility will be to improve the performance and quality within the organization.

"In our current business environment, we are facing uncertainty and challenges around every corner. Our ability to be agile, flexible and train the next generation of Stainless Foundry employees is critical to our success," said Jim Stachowiak, CEO of SF&E. "Rory, a veteran leader, is an important addition to guide us during these times."

Progress over the past four years has involved new equipment purchases, production process changes, separating commercial work from high specification work, introducing (and bringing back) new alloys, the growth of in-house machining, welding and non-destructive testing (NDT) capabilities, as well as new partnerships with vetted third parties to supplement capacity.

Kluck has more than 20 years of manufacturing management experience. Prior to joining SF&E, he served as plant manager for The Master Lock Company LLC, and held several leadership roles at 3M. He has extensive experience in process/product engineering, is Six Sigma Green Belt certified and specializes in tracking and improving the safety, quality, delivery and cost metrics of a manufacturing facility. Kluck holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
