PLM Managed Service Portfolio Expanded

Razorleaf has announced new managed-services enhancements that relieve clients of the responsibility of monitoring and solving daily systems issues and provides proactive maintenance, updates and security for PLM solutions from a variety of vendors.

Razorleaf Corporation has announced that its PLM Managed Services program has been enhanced with new security and infrastructure management options. "Razorleaf's flexible, scalable PLM managed-service program provides custom tiered-support service levels, reducing platform maintenance costs, minimizing downtime and increasing productivity for any PLM platform. The PLM Managed Service program offers on-premises hosting and/or cloud-environment delivery options," said a company spokesperson.

Managed Service offerings now include:

  • Infrastructure management: Server and database administration, maintenance, performance monitoring, reporting and ongoing incident support
  • Managed security: Data protection including disaster recovery planning, system/data backup, storage management, firewall management, Unified Threat management (UTM) and Intrusion Detection and Protection Systems (IDPS)
  • PLM application services: PLM installation, maintenance, monitoring and performance-audit services, including PLM vendor fixes, patches and upgrades
  • Help desk: Phone, web and email-based technical tiered support as needed to meet business needs, with 24/7 worldwide support available.

"Razorleaf has decades of experience in managing PLM environments including PLM upgrades and application services to help-desk support," said Eric Doubell, CEO. "We align the right services with each client's environment and resources to best support and extract the most benefit from their PLM platform. Our PLM Managed Services program relieves clients of the responsibility of monitoring and solving daily systems issues and provides proactive maintenance and updates, particularly in medium-to-large user environments. Our service offerings continue to expand to help our clients improve time-to-value with their PLM investment."
