Line of Collet Chucks with Reduced Hang Weight

Hardinge Inc., an international provider of metalcutting solutions, has announced the release of a Low-Profile 65 mm Dead-Length FlexC Quick Change Collet Chuck. This collet chuck is available in four spindle sizes including A2-5", A2-6", A2-8" and 140 mm and can be customized to fit any spindle.
The Low-Profile 65 mm DL features a reduced nose diameter as compared to the current design. This redesign gives enhanced tool clearances. Additional enhancements include reduced hang weight, installation simplifications and a work stop and accessories.
"This design is a direct result of feedback from our customers and distributors. They wanted a FlexC product that offered more tool clearance, and this collet chuck provides that capability," said Ryan Ervin, Manager, North American Workholding Sales & Product Development.
