KARL BRUCKNER GmbH of Weinstadt, Germany has introduced a series of standard female grinding dead centers in both tool steel and carbide tip. Both types are available in Morse Taper sizes 1 through 4, and both are available in full center or half center with grind wheel relief. These centers are designed for cylindrical grinding or inspection of parts with 60° O.D. chamfers from 1 mm to 6 mm. Custom versions can be quoted for Jarno, straight shank or larger Morse Taper sizes, special angles other than 60° or for larger part sizes.
Also for larger parts, BRUCKNER offers a series of female tool steel insert tips that can be used on either live or dead centers from Morse Taper 2 through 5, and with part range of 2 mm to 55 mm. Special designed female inserts for other part requirements can be provided by Powerhold, the exclusive provider of BRUCKNER products in the USA, usually in four weeks or less.
