Keynote Speakers at ASQ Lean Six Sigma Conference
February 29, 2016Keynote speakers for the ASQ Lean and Six Sigma Conference, taking place Feb. 29 – March 1 in Phoenix, AZ, will include: Pam Henderson, Ph.D., CEO of NewEdge Inc.; Dave Verduyn, President of C2C Solutions Inc.; and Patricia C. La Londe, a supply chain executive.
“Attendees of the ASQ Lean and Six Sigma Conference will learn how to strengthen their leadership skills and take away Lean Six Sigma tools and practical applications that will help drive their organization’s competitiveness,” said a spokesperson.
The ASQ 2016 Lean and Six Sigma Conference will be held at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort, and offers more than 45 sessions, including “The Growth-Minded Leader in a Challenging Economy,” “Managing with Metrics: The Implementation and Use of KPIs,” “Reducing Lead Time in a High-Production Environment” and “Checklists for Designing in Quality: Fundamental Tools for DFSS.”

Pam Henderson is CEO of NewEdge Inc., a growth, strategy and design firm that advises companies across every industry from Fortune 500 to startups and nonprofits. Henderson, formerly on the faculty at Carnegie Mellon University, pioneered Opportunity Thinking, which empowers organizations to see potential in new places across markets, technologies, business models, brands and design. She speaks around the world on market insights, innovation and business growth. Henderson authored the book “You Can Kill An Idea, But You Can’t Kill An Opportunity! How to Discover New Sources of Growth for Your Organization,” and she has received recognition in the Harvard Business Review, Wall Street Journal and NPR.
Dave Verduyn, President of C2C Solutions Inc. — Monday, Feb. 29, Afternoon Keynote
Dave Verduyn is a recognized thought leader on innovation who has trained thousands of engineers and product developers in methods including systematic innovation, voice of the customer, TRIZ, quality function deployment, cost reduction, value analysis and other Design for Lean Six Sigma activities. Verduyn’s focus is the front end of product development, and he has coached more than 70 Fortune 1000 companies in North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and South America across a diverse range of industries. He regularly lectures on systemic innovation at the University of Michigan, ASQ and other professional organizations.
Patricia C. La Londe, Supply Chain and Continuous Improvement Consultant — Tuesday, March 1, Morning Keynote
Patricia La Londe is principal of P. La Londe Consulting and a business consultant for CareFusion, a major medical device company. La Londe, an award-winning supply chain executive, leads teams in all aspects of procurement and supply chain including supplier quality, global sourcing, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and integrations across diverse businesses. She has developed a global sourcing organization for a large medical device company, resulting in cost reduction via strategic sourcing methodologies and reengineering while ensuring compliance with regulations.
