Fully Automatic Double-Column Bandsaw

Kalamazoo Machine Tool offers the DC12A-NC fully automatic double-column bandsawing machine, featuring a XSmart CNC operating system. The machine is intended for high volume production of a variety of materials. The construction, components and design are combined for vibration free sawing and long blade life at high production rates. The CNC program allows entry of up to 10 jobs to be memorized, each one with up to 10 different lengths and quantities. All cutting functions are displayed at the operator console, and error messages and nature of the error displayed as they occur.
The model DC12A-NC machine features a clean and simple material flow, easy mounting of infeed roller conveyors, a cutoff trough that allows workpieces to drop off into parts bin or optional conveyors, and access to an optional chip conveyor and flushing/cleaning hose. The feeder vise on the DC12A-NC machine is an overarm-type with a full stroke vise designed for easy set-up, and independent rollers for maximum material support. An optional top clamp is available for large capacity bundling. The saw vise then holds material on both sides of the saw blade to eliminate drop-off burr and pinching of saw blade on cutoff materials.
