Horizontal Boring Mill Line

Sharp Industries, Inc. has introduced its latest line of horizontal boring and milling machines. It features box type column, bed and saddle designs engineered for heavy cutting operations. The X- and Y-axes are equipped with high precision ballscrews for fast and easy linear movements. The headstock, table and saddle are locked by hydraulic systems for secured machining conditions. All major castings are made out of Meehanite casting process:
Three sizes are currently available.
Model KHM-120 has 47" x 47" x 31" travel
Model KHM-140 has 55" x 47" x 43" travel
Model KHN-180 has 70" x 55" x 47" travel.
All models have a NT50 taper, 1,500 RPM spindle, 12 speeds, 10 HP motor. Indexing tables are 24" x 24" and 32" x32", 5 degree indexing increments.
Standard accessories include: 3-axis digital readout systems, hydraulic clamping, tapping function, fixed quill design and power drawbar.
