Pacific Press Technologies Celebrates 70th Anniversary
February 1, 2016
Pacific Press Technologies, Inc. recently celebrated its 70th anniversary. "The company began during World War II by building the United States' first hydraulic press brake, a safer and more reliable alternative to mechanical brakes," said a company spokesperson. "Pacific Press Technologies continued to build and improve its product line, building the first computer-controlled servo-hydraulic press for composite molding and the world's largest plate shear which was able to cut 1-1/2 inch steel plate."
Today Pacific Press offers a wide range of presses, press brakes and shears to meet customers' hydraulic metalforming applications. All machinery is precision-crafted in the U.S. and is supported by a team of Pacific Press experts for the life of the machine.
