NIMS Announces New Staff Leadership

NIMS has announced three new staff additions to its growing team. Each of the new leaders will oversee key business activities and initiatives.
Shelby Hill has joined the NIMS team as a Customer Service Representative. Hill supports key credentialing activities. Using her past experience from working in a graduate school registrar's office, Hill provides support with the credentialing side of metalworking skills.
Christine Hubley joined the NIMS team in late April as the Director of Marketing. In this role, Hubley will be managing NIMS marketing engagements and supporting the rollout of new standards and credentials within Industrial Technology Maintenance and CAM. Prior to joining NIMS, Hubley worked in Marketing and Communications at a major steel company in Michigan. She has held roles in Asset Management, Treasury and Management Consulting predominantly within manufacturing. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Dickinson College and a MBA from Penn State University.
Kendra Hurt recently joined the NIMS team as Program Coordinator and will be managing all of the NIMS training workshop activities and working on other information management projects. Hurt previously worked in libraries of varying size and focus, including the DC Public Library, Smithsonian Libraries and multiple research libraries. Hurt holds a Master of Library Science from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Virginia.
