Integrity Saw & Tool Earns ISO Certification

Integrity Saw & Tool, Inc. (Fond du Lac, WI) is the first KOMET SERVICE Partner to earn ISO 9001:2008 certification. "This is a major step for both Integrity Saw & Tool and KOMET SERVICE as the two companies push for increasingly higher standards of quality assurance," said a spokesperson.

All KOMET SERVICE Partners are currently working to obtain ISO 9001:2008 certification, and Integrity Saw & Tool is the first North American Partner to complete the process. This certification, established by the International Organization for Standardization, ensures that customers receive goods of a consistently high quality and that all regulatory requirements are met, regardless of the nature of the product or the industry.

"This is certainly a big achievement for our partner, Integrity Saw & Tool," said Tom Whennen, Manager, KOMET SERVICE North America, "but it is an equally big step for KOMET SERVICE as a whole, too. All of our KOMET SERVICE Partners are actively engaged in the ISO certification process. It shows our dedication to quality solid carbide tooling and customer satisfaction. Above all else, we are ultimately accountable to our customers, and ISO certification demonstrates this accountability."

"We are very proud of this accomplishment, which we have worked towards for many months," said Paul Reetz, President of Integrity Saw & Tool. "Achieving ISO 9001:2008 certification further strengthens our company-wide commitment to our Quality Policy, which is to provide accurate and effective cutting tools promptly, to meet customer requirements and to improve continually. Success requires more than a promise - it requires integrity."

Integrity Saw & Tool joined the KOMET SERVICE network in July 2013. Since then, it has been licensed to regrind and recoat KOMET solid carbide tools to original, KOMET-grade standards and to manufacture custom KOMET solid carbide tools. Integrity Saw & Tool also refurbishes and manufactures custom saw blades for a variety of applications.
