Company Announces Machine Tool Coolant Video Series

Haas Automation has created a series of videos to address common questions regarding maintaining coolant systems on its machines. "These are the concerns we address day to day in our service department and at our Haas Factory Outlets around the world," said a company spokesperson. The company recommended that users who are new to mixing and maintaining coolant watch the video titled "Tools of Coolant" first. "This video gives an overview of the tools that make coolant maintenance easier," said the spokesperson.
The "Tools of Coolant" video demonstrates how to perform tasks such as the following:
- Measuring brix concentration with a refractometer
- Testing pH balance with water quality test strips
- Testing a coolant sample with a bacterial test kit
- Emptying a tank and cleaning it with alkaline cleaner
- Draining a tank with pumps, brackets and scoops
- Mixing a coolant.
