Grippers for Specific Workpieces

New automation gripping technology from RÖHM Products of America now includes RRMP synthetic grippers. According to the company, they combine compact size and extremely low weight with tested endurance performance and made-to-order grips.

"New manufacturing processes make it possible for RÖHM to individually and rapidly design and manufacture the grippers to handle specific workpieces, be they round, prismatic or free-form in shape," said a company spokesperson. "The air-operated jaws are an ideal solution for light workpieces.

"Light and compact yet strong, the grippers offer high repeatability and in proven applications have performed maintenance-free for more than 8 million cycles."
