Ergonomics Improves Work Environment

The Lektriever Vertical Carousel from Kardex Remstar is intended to create an ergonomic work station for all users. When all files and items are 100% accessible for everyone, productivity and ergonomics are increased, risk of injury is reduced and worker compensation claims are diminished.
In a traditional four-drawer filing system, bending, reaching and stooping to search for files is a daily activity. Ergonomics is the science of adjusting an individual's workplace environment to fit the worker. The Lektriever Vertical Carousel is an automated vertical filing system designed to store all file types, media and other various light duty administration goods. Working on the goods-to-person principle, goods are delivered to the worker at an ergonomic height, eliminating the need to bend, reach or stoop.
For further ergonomic adjustability, an optional manual or electrical adjustable work counter is available, allowing the height of the work counter to be adjusted to each worker's comfort level. The work counter can be adjusted from a seated position of 30.31" to a standing position of 39.37" and stopped anywhere in between. With files being delivered directly to the worker, productivity can be improved up to 160%, according to the company.
