AccuRounds Achieves ISO 13485 Certification

AccuRounds, a manufacturer of precision components, announced that it has received ISO 13485:2003 certification. The ISO 13485 international standard is a globally recognized quality management system for medical device manufacturers and related services. The certification is developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and defines the requirements for regulatory and compliance purposes.
"Obtaining ISO 13485 Certification complements our AS9100C and ISO 9001:2008 certifications and specifically addresses the medical industry," said Michael Tamasi, CEO of AccuRounds. "Having this certification will assure our customers that we have the necessary credentials to provide services and products to this sector."
ISO 13485 affirms that an organization has the quality management system in place to satisfy customer requirements and successfully operate in the medical industry. AccuRounds received its certification from Intertek.
AccuRounds is a contract manufacturer that machines and assembles precision turned components for industries including medical, aerospace, automotive, semiconductor and emerging technology.
