Automatic Magazine Bar Feeder Provides Quick Changeovers

Alpha 552 from LNS includes proprietary Quick-Change round guiding elements to reduce partial changeovers to 3 minutes or less, and complete changeovers to less than 8 minutes. This automatic bar feeder is designed to provide consistent bar support and reliable bar loading for fixed headstock machines. It accommodates bar stock diameters from .20" to 1.85" up to maximum 2.047" diameter with bar preparation (5 mm to 52 mm).
"Using hydrodynamic and hydrostatic oil support technology to safely guide bar stock, Alpha 552 reduces vibration transference to provide enhanced precision machining performance," said a company spokesperson.
