SMI Machine Tools Open House to Focus on Oil and Gas Industries

SMI Machine Tools will be hosting its March Madness Open House on March 20-21 from 9 AM until 6 PM at its Houston, TX, showroom. The open house will feature Hwacheon Big Bore Turning and Heavy Duty Vertical Machining Centers and 5-axis milling solutions from Matsuura.
"There will be live demonstrations on each machine designed to show just what these machines are capable of producing," said John Vincent, co-owner, SMI Machine Tools. "There will not be any aluminum nor plastic demonstrations, just hard steel and relevant parts and with real life results for attendees to observe and inspect."
"In all of the years we have been blessed to be in the machine tool business, one thing has been a constant," said Vincent. "The constant is the growing need for big bore turning machines, in stock, rigid, dependable and affordable to our customers. Finally we have just that, and we at SMI Machine Tools want to share it with our partners and friends."

"It is our firm belief that the products we will be demonstrating at our open house will allow us to do just that."
All attending customers will be eligible for a drawing to win a Harley Davidson motorcycle and other door prizes. Lunch will also be served both days. Representatives from machine tool builders as well as tooling, workholding and accessory suppliers will be on hand to answer questions and provide additional manufacturing insight.
