Morris Midwest, a division of Morris Group, Inc., will hold Morris Madness, its third annual open house and technology show, on March 18-19 in Roselle, IL. Demos and displays from Okuma, Tsugami, Hardinge Group and numerous tooling and accessories suppliers are planned.
"We are bringing in every category of machine, from entry level lathes to horizontal machining centers, vertical machining centers and multifunction machines," said a company spokesperson. "Live cutting of sample parts from the aerospace and medical industries will occur on multiple machines."
Several new opposed gang tool multi-axis lathes and a 20 mm 5-axis machine from Tsugami will be displayed. Models such as the Okuma Multus B Series multifunction lathes and Hardinge SUPER-PRECISION T-42 MSY are among the dozen machines that will be running live cutting demonstrations.
Morris Midwest shares its Roselle facility with Okuma America Corporation. Featuring training and presentation rooms, it serves as a regional technical center for Okuma and its Partners in THINC program. Product specialists and representatives from more than 20 technology suppliers will be in attendance and available both days to discuss latest advancements.
