Easy Handling of Heavy Loads

The Shuttle XP 1000 vertical lift module from Kardex Remstar can accommodate goods weighing up to 2,205 lbs. (1,000 kg) per tray. It is designed to allow the simple and ergonomic storage of heavy tools and large goods as well as a large number of small parts per tray.

The "Super Strong" tray can accommodate up to 2,205 lbs. (1,000 kg) with a width of 4.1' (1,250 mm) and up to 1,764 lbs. (800 kg) with a width of 13'. (4,000 mm). For ease of use, the tray uses castors instead of conventional plastic sliding shoes. The storage system can be used by a wide range of sectors as a production buffer, to supply assembly lines, as a tool store or to distribute spare parts.

"All models in the Shuttle XP series provide high density storage," said a company spokesperson. "Fast access times and a clear overview of the inventory stock maximize efficiencies. Large storage capacity can be achieved in the smallest of floor spaces, reducing the space used for storage by up to 80%. Designed with the 'goods to person' principle, the stored goods are brought from the extractor to the access opening where they can be ergonomically removed by the operator. All Shuttle XP models are fitted with Logicontrol as standard, the latest machine control system from Kardex Remstar. This can also be used for simple warehouse management. In addition, Logicontrol has interfaces that can be used to link it to superordinate ERP systems.
