Absolute Machine Tools' new Midwest Technical Center in Elgin, IL.
Absolute Machine Tools, Inc. is hosting a Discovery Day at its new Midwest Technical Center in Elgin, IL, where guests can experience live demos of a wide range of advanced metalworking equipment. The event will take place on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, from 10 AM to 7 PM.
New technologies from such machine tool brands as Nexturn, Precihole, Accutex EDM, Tongtai, Johnford and FANUC Automation will be introduced. Ten Kennametal tooling packages worth $1,000 each and 10 EDM consumable packages valued at $350 each will be given away as door prizes. Complimentary lunch and beer will be served courtesy of Elgin's Portillo's Hot Dogs, Inc.
The 26,000 sq. ft. technical center was acquired to support Absolute's strong customer base in the region. Discovery Day is designed to showcase Absolute's applications and service engineering capabilities via its highly trained staff and professional partnerships.
