Multi-Channel Metrology Information and Education Program

Verisurf has published education information about various metrology processes and its suite of software products on multiple delivery platforms and channels, including a dedicated YouTube channel, Verisurf University and the Verisurf Website. The goal is to support and educate manufacturing professionals who are considering adding a solution from today's growing list of metrology applications.

Verisurf X software with model-based GD&T inspection technology at its core is designed to help manufacturing companies of all types improve quality and become more efficient with computer-aided inspection, reverse engineering and assembly guidance.

The Verisurf YouTube channel provides a comprehensive list of short videos that introduce the company, demonstrate the various software modules and feature a growing list of vertical application examples. The Verisurf YouTube channel can be accessed directly at youtube.com/user/verisurfchannel or through the Verisurf website.

Verisurf University delivers internet-based video training through a standard web browser. The curriculum is intended to provide learners with a strong theoretical and practical understanding of Verisurf X, and includes 12 courses that cover the user interface, measurement, alignment, analysis and reporting functions. Learners also have the option to earn a Certificate of Completion by successfully passing examinations following each course. A learning management system manages the learner's home page and provides quick access to all account information, history, certificates, personal calendar and courses. Additional courses in development include Model-based Definition and Inspection, Advanced Surface Analysis and Reverse Engineering techniques. For companies with more specialized needs Verisurf University staff members are available to recommend the best mix of online and instructor led course work.

"We are committed not only to selling our software, but also educating customers on best practices when it comes to utilizing digital metrology in manufacturing," said Ernie Husted, President of Verisurf. "We remain dedicated to supporting all devices and maintaining an open platform and interoperability with complementary solution providers."
