Hob Up to 400 mm Diameter Gears

Gear manufacturers can run small lots or mass produce straight and helical gears; crowned and tapered gears; worm gears; chain sprockets and toothed belt discs; cluster gears and special profiles with MAG's H 400 CNC hobbing machine. This machine can use standard hob or form milling technology, ranging from dry or wet machining with high capacity HSS or carbide tools to skive hobbing of heat-treated gears.
The H 400 hobber includes:
- Motorized hob head
- Direct drive table speed range of 400 RPM
- Maximum hob diameter of 175 mm
- 6 CNC axes
- Siemens control
- Aligning probe
- MAG Module dialog software (metric or inches).
