MC Machinery Systems Inc. recently hosted its Mitsubishi Laser National Open House at Mitsubishi Laser's headquarters outside of Chicago. A major focus of the open house was the debut of the Compact Automation River System.
"Space is at a premium in many shops, and square footage is not cheap," said a company spokesperson. "For many, automation would be a great investment if only they had the room for it. The new FSX Compact River can be used in shops that are just too small for full automation."
The FSX Compact River features 32 shelves of storage and five product carts. Capable of a load weight of 6,000 lbs per shelf, the system can carry 192,000 lbs of raw material, all in the space of one machine and one tower configuration. Additional features include 90 mm load height and 187.5 mm shelf pitch.
Mitsubishi's products are backed by service and support with regional service teams located across the country.
