Pro Range of Heavy-Duty Interlocks

Industrial safety specialist Fortress Interlocks has developed its amGard range of heavy duty, safety gate switch interlocks to create amGard Pro. This line was designed in compliance with developing global standards to safeguard plant and personnel in heavy-duty environments, according to the company.
amGard Pro is forward and backward compatible to integrate with existing installed interlocks. Emergency release options help increase plant safety, while a non-contact feature provides redundancy. The interlocks feature corrosion-resistant stainless steel heads and anti-vibration parts.
The Pro range features enhanced control functionality but still offers the option for traditional lockout retrofitting. amGard Pro has been tested to withstand up to 10 KN retention force.
