SMTCL Open House

SMTCL recently hosted an Open House at its U.S. headquarters near Los Angeles. The main objectives of the Open House were to invite customers and prospects to SMTCL's 30,000 square foot technical center, to meet SMTCL management and engineering staff, to learn about the latest technology trends in the machine tool industry and to get discounted prices on over 30 machines displayed in the showroom.
Attendees could attend seminars with topics covering: 5-axis machining, workholding fixtures, new CAD design developments, tooling innovations and titanium machining.
SMTCL partners like Kennametal, Calmotion, Mitutoyo, Siemens, FANUC, Innovative Tool Sales and Next Engine provided their own booths and engineering personnel to offer information and educational content to attendees including customers and distributors.
Bob Mlakar, President of SMTCL-Americas, said, "Our Los Angeles team planned and executed a successful Open House. Customers learned about SMTCL's new manufacturing technology, about our service and stocked parts and were able to purchase quality machines at a good price."
