Rotary Drum Coater for Heavy, Complex Workpieces

Walther Trowal offers its R80 Rotamat for coating of mass-produced small parts made from plastic, metal, rubber and wood.

With a drum diameter of 800 mm and a usable volume of 50 liters, the machine can accommodate batches of 50 kg. It is suitable for coating parts with complex geometries or heavy metal parts.

"With technical features such as optimized fresh air inlet and a modular filter system - up to filter class F6 - this machine offers a high degree of flexibility regarding the use of different paints with a higher throughput. By being able to use more solvent, the users can speed up the coating process and remain within the ATEX limits," said a company spokesperson.

By optimizing the airflow and the paint spraying system, Walther Trowal is able to keep overspray at a minimum. Additionally, the heat control system helps reduce cycle times and energy consumption.

Walther Trowal serves many industries, including automotive, aerospace, medical engineering and wind power generation.
