Knuth Machine Tools USA offers its ZNC series of sinker EDMs.

"The ZNC EDM 250 is a low-cost, entry-level machine with NC controlled feed on the Z-axis," said a company spokesperson. "The compact design is perfect for machining of small parts. It is constructed with a rigid machine base and linear scales in all axes to ensure constant precision.

"The ZNC 250 is a low-maintenance and highly efficient machine. Its design is operator-friendly, allowing employees to easily program the machine. Every machine comes standard with a flame sensor and fire extinguishing system. The ZNC EDM 250 starts at $12,360 with additional options available including adjustable electrode holder and magnetic clamping plate.

"Knuth offers two additional sinker EDM machines with full CNC control. The ZNC 435 L and ZNC 760 L are equipped with preloaded ball screws for low maintenance and high precision. Wire EDM machines are also available, including the DEM and Smart DEM series of high performance machines with an excellent price/performance ratio."
